In the year nineteen hundred and nine, on the fifteenth day of the month of March at three o’clock in the afternoon, before us, Nicolas Klein, Mayor, Civil Registrar of the municipality of Ell, in the canton of Redingen (Redange), Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, appeared Jean Tibesar, farmer, aged thirty-one years, father of the child, residing in Ell, who presented to us a female child, born in Ell, Gassen, at eleven o’clock in the morning, in house number [blank], conceived by him together with his wife Marguerite Clemens, a housewife, aged twenty-five years, residing in Ell, and to whom he declared he wishes to give the first names Marie Justine.
This declaration and presentation took place in the presence of Nicolas Gaspert, aged thirty-one years, farmer, residing in Kleinmacher, and Johann Rader, aged fifty-one years, farmer, residing in Roodt, and the witnesses have signed this document with us after it was read to them.
